Help Cats Find Their "Purr-fect" Forever Homes — From Your Home!
Do you believe every rescued cat deserves a safe, loving future? At Loving Care Cat Rescue, our Application Screeners are the vital bridge between a cat’s rescue story and their "happily ever after." We are looking for detail-oriented, communicative advocates to join our virtual team and help us save lives, one application at a time.
The Impact You’ll Make
As a Screener, you aren’t just filing papers—you are a detective and a diplomat. You ensure that our cats and kittens go to homes where they will be cherished. By providing a fast, 24–48 hour turnaround, you help us clear space in foster homes so we can rescue the next cat in need.
What You’ll Do
- Verify Credentials: Confirm home ownership or connect with landlords to ensure cats are welcome.
- Advocate for Health: Contact veterinarians to ensure prospective owners have a history of responsible pet care.
- Conduct Interviews: Call references of the applicant to get a true feel for the potential adopter and home environment.
- Data Management: Update our internal database and conduct light online research to verify applicant information.
- Seamless Handoff: Package your findings and pass the "green-lit" applications to our foster parents for the final meet-and-greet.
Who You Are
- A Great Communicator: You are comfortable picking up the phone and have a knack for asking the right questions.
- Detail-Obsessed: You notice the small things that others might miss.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with web-based databases and online research.
- Available: You have flexibility during Daytime hours (Eastern Time) to make and receive calls.
- Location: You must reside in the continental U.S. or possess a U.S.-based phone number.
Requirements at a Glance
- Turnaround: Ability to complete screenings within 24–48 hours.
- Skills: Strong organization, exceptional customer service, and a passion for animal welfare.
- Equipment: Reliable computer and phone access.
