Description
LCSNW's Preferred Communities is looking for new mentors. Mentors are community volunteers who will meet socially with the client on a regular basis to practice English and provide friendship.
May assist immigrants and refugees with the following:
- Help the clients navigate the local community
- Understand U.S. cultural norms
- Assist with information on documents and public services
- Teach basic tech skills and digital access
- Transportation to medical visits
This volunteer position is for an agreed -upon period of 3-6 months or more.
