    Description

    Do you have a passion for STEM? Have you always wanted to share that passion with others?

    The Sammamish Library is looking for teen experts (aged 14+) to lead workshops in our STEM Saturday Fall Series for the months of September - November 2026.

    Available Workshop Dates (2-4pm) - All Saturdays:

    • September 12
    • September 26
    • October 10
    • October 24
    • November 7
    • November 21

    Time Commitment:

    • One or two 2-hour long workshops
    • Attending scheduled planning meetings over the summer
    • Preparing the presentation and materials

    How to Apply:

    • Design a proposal for ONLY 1 or 2 workshops on a STEM-related topic (about 1-2 hours in duration) for an audience aged 8-12.
    • Submit your proposal to Librarian Jess at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3RRQM82. Please read the submission instructions carefully before submitting your application. Applications not meeting the criteria will not be considered.
    • The deadline to submit is June 6th.

      • WA state background check
      • Parental consent form
      • Volunteer Agreement Form
      • General Volunteer Training (provided by KCLS)
