    Description

Hospice Vigil Volunteers Needed in the Edgar area

St. Croix Hospice is looking for individuals to make vigil visits to our patients. As a vigil volunteer, you will provide a presence to patients that are actively dying. Whether the patient's family needs a break or the patient has no one to be with them, we provide this opportunity, so patients don't die alone. Whether it is reading to the patient, playing their favorite music or just simply sitting with them to provide a supportive presence. We will be with you every step of the way.

Hours are extremely flexible. These volunteers will be on as a as-needed basis.

Become a supportive presence to a patient and/or their family when they really need it most! If you have a little extra time and are looking for something rewarding to do, look no further. We provide you with all the training and any resources you may need.

I would be more than happy to answer any questions via email, phone or in person, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. My name is Missie Peterson and I am the Regional Volunteer Coordinator, my phone number is 612-476-5041.
