Description
Join Detroit Riverfront Rangers for a community cleanup day at Riverside Park 05/30/2026 at ! We are looking for volunteers to help clean and beautify the park while creating a safer and more welcoming space for families, youth, and the community.
Volunteers will assist with:
- Picking up litter throughout the park
- Cleaning common community areas
- Helping keep the riverfront clean and enjoyable
- Supporting setup and cleanup activities
This opportunity is perfect for students seeking community service hours, families, groups, and anyone looking to give back to the Detroit community.
No experience is needed. Cleanup supplies and guidance will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Food and refreshments will be provided for volunteers during the event.
Together, we can help keep Riverside Park clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Detroit Riverfront Rangers for our Riverside Park Community Cleanup Day!
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for outdoor cleanup activities.
Cleanup supplies will be provided. Food and refreshments will also be available for volunteers during the event.
Students seeking community service hours are welcome. Groups, families, and first-time volunteers are encouraged to participate.
