    Youth Services Library Volunteer

    Do you enjoy working with children and families? Are you creative, organized, and enthusiastic about helping your community? The Appomattox Regional Library System is seeking dedicated Youth Services Volunteers to support our team in providing engaging, educational, and fun experiences for young library visitors.

    What You’ll Do

    As a Youth Services Volunteer, you will:

    • Help prepare take-home craft kits for children and families.
    • Assist library staff with Youth Services programs, including STREAM Night (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math activities).
    • Set up and clean up program spaces before and after events.
    • Provide friendly and welcoming assistance to families attending programs.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A passion for helping children and families learn and grow.
    • Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team setting.
    • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently when needed.
    • Creativity and enthusiasm are a plus!
