    Description

    Reporting to the Digital Marketing Assistant Manager and Creative Deputy Director, the Community Strategist leads efforts to activate and expand Random Acts’ global supporter network. This role strengthens engagement and builds a broader international supporter base beyond existing communities. The goal is to deepen engagement rates and grow a sustainable, mission-driven supporter network. This role requires about 2 hours of commitment per week.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor and analyze community engagement across digital platforms to identify trends, opportunities and areas for development.
    • Develop and implement strategies that increase meaningful interaction, participation and supporter retention.
    • Activate supporters through campaigns, digital initiatives and collaborative community efforts.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand outreach beyond existing audiences with a strong international and cross-cultural focus.
    • Collaborate closely with Social Media, Writing, Multimedia and PR teams to ensure cohesive community engagement strategies.
    • Identify and elevate community stories and supporter voices to strengthen authenticity and connection.
    • Track engagement metrics and translate insights into clear, actionable optimization recommendations.
    • Attend regular staff and departmental meetings.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Enthusiasm and commitment to the objectives of Random Acts.
    • Experience in community management or audience development.
    • Strong understanding of digital engagement and community-building strategies across social platforms.
    • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
    • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity in communicating with diverse international audiences.
    • Creative thinker with strong collaboration skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
