Are you patient enough to support someone who will tell you the same story, or ask the same questions, over and over again? IF “YES”, PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING OUR TEAM!

Many of our patients have some form of dementia. They deserve support and companionship at end-of-life, as all our patients do. It is a special person who understands this and makes themselves available to this population. If that is you, and you are intrigued about becoming a Hospice Volunteer, please respond to this post.

The onboarding to be a Hospice Volunteer is a process, so this is NOT a short-term activity. And you should have time, most of the time, to visit weekly, as consistency breeds familiarity, which brings on that 'connecting with another' feeling, that most Hospice Volunteers are wanting. To get a full sense of what is entailed, contact the Volunteer Coordinator, either directly, or by responding to this post. I will say now that Volunteers control 'where they go' and 'when they go', by accepting the right cases for them, but Echo Hospice needs volunteers throughout this County, even though only one city is identified.

If you feel that you can truly be there for another, who is at the end of their life, we welcome your involvement! Please step forward and respond to this post.

    Location

    On-site

Throughout the entire Bucks County, PA area.

    Doylestown, PA 18901, USA
    Directions

Volunteers always have control as to where they go, and when they go, however, the more limitations that you put on driving distance and schedule availability, the harder it may be to find a case that will work for you.
