    Time Commitment: 6-12 Months (Unpaid Volunteer Role)

    About Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow

    Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow (EOT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of Black, Brown and immigrant youth entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, and experiential learning. Through programs such as EOT Labs, we equip young leaders with the skills, confidence, and support needed to transform ideas into action.

    Role Overview

    The Product Development Intern role is a hands-on, learning-focused opportunity to gain experience in software development and product building.

    You will work closely with the Product team to design, build, and deploy digital solutions supporting EOT’s programs and operations. This role includes mentorship and does not replace paid staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and deploy applications using low-code/no-code tools and/or traditional technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, APIs)
    • Develop integrations using platforms like Zapier and Airtable
    • Collaborate with the Product team to translate requirements into functional solutions
    • Manage tasks and communication using tools like Basecamp
    • Create technical documentation (Docs, Sheets, diagrams)
    • Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance
    • Gather user feedback and iterate on features
    • Support maintenance and optimization of existing systems
    • Participate in product sprints and team discussions

    What We Are Looking For

    • Background or interest in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
    • Familiarity with low-code tools or programming languages
    • Exposure to tools like Airtable, Zapier, or similar platforms
    • Experience with project management tools (Basecamp, Jira, etc.)
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
    • Interest in social impact and entrepreneurship
    • Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and their applications in optimizing processes and building scalable solutions.
