Description
International House Davis is seeking local native English speakers to volunteer as one-on-one English conversation partners for international learners. This is a friendly, community-based program for those who are passionate about cultural exchange and supporting others as they build confidence in their English skills.
No teaching experience is required. Once paired, partners coordinate directly to decide when and where to meet for weekly conversations. The schedule is highly flexible. We ask volunteers to be responsive and to maintain open communication with their partners and our program coordinator regarding any feedback or proposed changes to the partnership.
