    Description

    Act of Random Kindness (ARK) is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Grant Writer & Researcher to help us bridge the gap between nutrition and neurological health. If you are a skilled writer who believes that food is medicine and that everyone deserves access to specialized nutrition, we would love to meet you. ARK Provides Food Distribution: Providing targeted, nutrient-dense food to individuals and families navigating neurological health challenges.

    Nutrition Education: Empowering our community with the knowledge of how specific diets and nutrients support brain function and long-term wellness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Research: Identify private foundations, health-focused corporate donors, and government grants specifically interested in food insecurity, neurological health, and nutrition education.
    • Grant Writing: Draft compelling proposals that explain the scientific and social importance of our work, highlighting how nutrition impacts neurological outcomes.
    • Data Translation: Work with our team to turn distribution numbers and participant feedback into powerful impact stories for grant reporting.
    • Pipeline Management: Maintain a database of potential funders and track upcoming submission deadlines.
