Description
Looking for good people to visit with our hospice patients who reside through-out the metroplex in their private homes and facilities. Volunteer will provide companionship and support to not only the patient, also to the families.
Patients receiving hospice care enjoy the friendship of volunteers. Volunteers read to patients, hold their hands, listen to music, sing, watch TV, play games, share stories, or offer caregiver respite. Your companionship ensures that patients have quality at their end of life.
Orientation is short and arranged to fit your schedule. We have flexible hours, will write letters of recommendation, and be a referral for you.
With our flexible schedule, you can work as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer.
