Chief Pastor
Department: Ministry & Spiritual Leadership
Position Type: Volunteer, Part-Time
Location: Remote – United States Only
Reports To: Executive Leadership
About the Role
BluShues is a non-denominational Christian ministry looking for a strong, Bible-believing pastor who feels called to lead, teach, pray, and help develop other ministers.
As Chief Pastor, you will provide spiritual leadership for our growing virtual ministry, oversee our Volunteer Ministers, and help make sure everything we teach stays grounded in Scripture.
This is a fully virtual ministry role. Our prayer meetings, minister training, fellowship, and much of our outreach take place online, allowing us to serve and connect with people in different communities and locations.
What You'll Do
- Provide spiritual leadership and biblical guidance for BluShues.
- Lead our weekly virtual prayer meeting every Saturday.
- Oversee Volunteer Ministers and help them grow in their ministry roles.
- Lead ministers through BluShues' established training program and curriculum.
- Make sure teachings and ministry activities remain consistent with Scripture and BluShues' Statement of Faith.
- Teach, encourage, and pray with our ministry team.
- Support and encourage evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and outreach efforts.
- Help strengthen a ministry culture that actively shares the gospel and reaches people for Christ.
- Work with BluShues leadership as the ministry continues to grow.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves Scripture, has a heart for evangelism, and enjoys helping other people grow in their faith and ability to serve.
Applicants must:
- Live in the United States.
- Have read the entire Bible and believe the Bible is true and the authoritative Word of God.
- Be a baptized Christian.
- Have a genuine heart for evangelism and reaching people with the gospel.
- Be comfortable serving within a non-denominational ministry.
- Be comfortable serving and leading in a virtual ministry environment.
- Be available to lead the weekly Saturday prayer meeting.
- Be willing to follow and oversee BluShues' established minister training program.
- Agree with and uphold BluShues' Statement of Faith.
- Demonstrate spiritual maturity, integrity, dependability, and strong communication skills.
Pastoral, ministry leadership, preaching, or teaching experience is strongly preferred. Ordination is preferred but not required for an otherwise qualified candidate.
Why Serve With BluShues?
This is an opportunity to do more than fill a volunteer position. You will help shape a ministry team, encourage developing ministers, lead people in prayer, and take part in work focused on sharing Scripture and reaching people with the gospel.
- If you have a heart for ministry and evangelism, believe deeply in the Word of God, and would enjoy helping lead a growing nondenominational virtual ministry, we would love to hear from you.
