Description
Wildlife Jewels is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support wildlife conservation through community outreach, education, and special events along the San Diego coast.
Volunteers will represent Wildlife Jewels at community events, exhibitions, conservation programs, and educational activities, helping raise awareness and appreciation for local wildlife and coastal conservation.
Volunteer activities may include:
- Staffing Wildlife Jewels outreach and exhibition tables
- Welcoming and engaging event visitors
- Sharing Wildlife Jewels’ mission and conservation messages
- Assisting with educational materials, displays, artwork, and interactive activities
- Supporting conservation art and community events
- Helping with event setup and breakdown
- Encouraging responsible wildlife viewing and coastal stewardship
Activities will take place primarily in La Jolla and Solana Beach, with occasional opportunities elsewhere in San Diego County.
Ideal volunteers are passionate about wildlife or conservation, friendly and comfortable engaging with the public, dependable, and comfortable volunteering outdoors and at community events.
Commitment: This is an active volunteer role. Volunteers are expected to contribute a minimum of 4 hours per month through outreach, exhibitions, educational activities, or community events and remain regularly engaged with upcoming opportunities.
