Description
Here at Oaknoll, we have a resident-led recycling committee that organizes and manages our recycling room. Each week, the recycling volunteers go through the recycling to make sure things are properly placed, and they also pull the pop tabs off of cans. We then collect these pop tabs and donate them to the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City, which goes towards covering the cost of a family being able to stay there while a child is receiving care at the hospital. As a recycling volunteer, you would help this committee with various recycling tasks, including the collection of pop can tabs, to support a good cause!
