    Description

    Volunteer Executive Director & Chief Growth Officer (Virtual)

    Outdoor Life Leadership is seeking an experienced nonprofit leader to serve as our Volunteer Executive Director & Chief Growth Officer. This long-term leadership role is ideal for someone who wants to help move a growing nonprofit beyond the startup stage and build a strong foundation for lasting impact.

    This is an unpaid, remote volunteer opportunity (6–12 months, part-time). We do not provide stipends for this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead organizational strategy and long-term growth.
    • Strengthen operations, systems, and organizational processes.
    • Develop funding strategies through grants, donors, sponsors, and partnerships.
    • Support board development and strategic planning.
    • Recruit and mentor volunteer leaders.
    • Build relationships with community, corporate, and nonprofit partners.
    • Help position the organization for long-term sustainability.

    Qualifications

    • Experience leading a nonprofit, business, or mission-driven organization.
    • Experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, operations, or strategic planning.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Able to work independently in a remote environment.
    • Able to commit approximately 5–10 hours per week for 6–12 months.
