Hospice Volunteer - Now Accepting Mature Teens 16+

If the medical field is of interest to you, volunteering with the elderly and those on hospice care, is a great way to continue exploring your interests!! And now, we are now accepting applications from those aged 16 and up.

Brighton Hospice is a growing company in Oregon, and we are seeking volunteers in the Eugene area to provide contact and support for hospice patients and their families. If you have the desire and flexibility around volunteering, we would love it if you were interested in seeing some of our patients in these communities - and some in their homes as well.

Hospice Volunteers can provide social support by spending time with patients to decrease isolation. Volunteers are invited to sing, play instruments, read, color, or share other activities with hospice patients. Volunteers can be trained to assist with providing bereavement support for loved ones of patients.

Additionally, there is opportunity for volunteers interested in clerical work and office management to work closely with staff on tasks around the office to support the hospice team.
