Description
A CASA Advocate is assigned by the Juvenile Court Judges of Will and Grundy Counties to one case involving children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect. The advocate visits and gathers information on the children, monitors compliance with court orders, and advocates for the child by being their "voice in court." Presence in court is not mandated, but the advocate helps prepare the court report for the judge and is able to be in court if available.
