Ongoing School & Community Support (Flexible Roles!)

Looking for a meaningful way to support local students and strengthen your community? The Whitman Elementary PTSA is seeking ongoing volunteers to help with a wide variety of school events, programs, and behind-the-scenes support throughout the year. Whether you have an hour to give or want to get involved regularly, there’s a role that fits your availability and interests.

Volunteering with the PTSA is flexible, fun, and incredibly rewarding. You’ll meet great people, support teachers and families, and help make school events possible for our Wildcats.

Types of Volunteer Opportunities:

• Event Support: Assist with setup, decorating, ticketing, concessions, or cleanup at school events.
• Classroom & Staff Support: Help with teacher appreciation efforts, preparing materials, or organizing supplies.
• Fundraising & Programs: Support school fundraisers, help distribute items, or prepare event materials.
• Committee Participation: Join committees such as Advocacy, Fundraising, Emergency Preparedness, or Membership.
• Community Engagement: Help with outreach, communication, or connecting families with PTSA resources.
• Flexible Micro-Tasks: Short, simple tasks available for volunteers with limited time—every bit helps!
