Description
EASEL Animal Rescue League seeks a dependable, detail-oriented Volunteer Development & Fundraising Assistant to aid our Director of Development. Gain hands-on nonprofit fundraising, event, and admin experience while supporting our mission. Animal lovers, career-changers and retirees welcome!
Responsibilities
- Support fundraising initiatives and event preparation
- Assist with event coordination, including planning support, timelines, and follow-ups
- Provide administrative assistance, including document preparation and scheduling
- Assist with CRM/database management, including donor data entry and updates
- Help track donations, acknowledgments, and basic reports
- Provide general development support as needed
Qualifications
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with basic data entry and administrative tasks
- Willingness to learn CRM systems (training provided as needed)
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or event planning
- Appreciation for animals is a plus, but commitment to supporting a mission-driven organization is what matters most
