Volunteer Role: Companion Volunteer
We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide companionship and social engagement for an older adult participant who enjoys connecting with others and engaging in friendly conversation.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Visiting and building a supportive friendship
- Sharing conversations and social interaction
- Providing companionship to help reduce isolation
- Encouraging engagement in enjoyable activities
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable engaging in one-on-one conversation
- Able to commit to regular in-person visits
- Complete Providence volunteer onboarding requirements
