    Junior Recruiter

    Position Title: Junior Recruiter

    Reports To: Talent Acquisition Supervisor

    Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible)

    Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based preferred; Atlanta timezone alignment a plus)

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible within core hours (e.g., 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST or 1:00 PM–5:00 PM EST shifts)

    Job Summary

    The Junior Recruiter supports the talent acquisition team by focusing on job posting, pre-screening, and resume review (qualifying candidates) to help identify promising talent for our non-profit initiatives. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, this entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn recruitment in a mission-driven environment.     Key Responsibilities

    • Post job openings on designated platforms (e.g., free job boards, social media), following templates and guidelines to attract qualified applicants.
    • Pre-screen incoming applications by initial review of resumes and submissions to filter for basic qualifications.
    • Conduct resume reviews and qualifying checks, flagging potential candidates for further evaluation by senior team members.
    • Assist the Talent Acquisition Supervisor in monitoring application trends and updating postings as needed.
    • Maintain organized records of postings and pre-screened candidates using simple tools like Google Sheets.
    • Support diversity efforts in pre-screening to promote Inclusive Superpower.
    • Participate in team meetings to learn and contribute to process improvements.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience/education in progress).
    • 0–2 years in recruitment or related administrative role; entry-level candidates welcome.
    • Basic knowledge of job posting and resume screening.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms) for basic tracking.
    • Enthusiasm for our non-profit mission and core values.
