    Description

Lead | Create | Improve your community by joining The Corona Bridge Project!

We are launching a Spring Day of Service Event in partnership with Familia Food Pantry and Projekt NYC. We are looking for student leaders to bridge the gap between their schools and underrepresented neighborhoods in Queens. This is a hybrid role offering both remote creative tasks and on-site community action.

    Responsibilities:

    • School Ambassador: If you are part of your high school service club (NHS, Key Club, etc.), you can apply as an ambassador/partner by hosting a 2-week donation drive at your school. Your club president/monitor must keep track of your members' service hours. Additionally, donations need to be dropped off on the day of the event (you can send representatives from your club).
    • Create Lead (Remote): Design official posters, flyers, and social media content to promote the drive and event across your school community or friends.
    • Event Planner (Hybrid): Get creative with ideas to attract more volunteers, people, and manage volunteer stations throughout the Day of Service

    Qualifications:

    • Any NYC high school students/clubs (Queens-based representatives)
    • Reliable & Passionate: Committed to helping families in underrepresented communities
    • Ability to work independently on creative tasks or lead a small team at your school
    • Strong Communication: Comfortable pitching the project to school advisors or club members

    Other Details:

    • Verified Service Hours: All hours (remote or in-person) are officially signed off through our 501(c)(3) partner, Projekt NYC
    • Requests: If your club/person would like, I can provide an online Google spreadsheet for members/students to track their hours
    • Questions: Feel free to email me any questions at any time
    • Sign Up Form: For the school section, you can put the club from your school, or just the name of your school
    • Date: TBD
