- Advise on recruitment of senior leadership and key talent: helping define search strategy, position profile, onboarding approach and ongoing support.
- Ensure that HR policies reflect mission and values: aligning them with Social Creatures’ commitment to equity, connection, wellbeing and inclusive culture.
- Oversee or advise on governance areas related to people operations: e.g., compensation and benefits reviews, whistleblower/grievance systems, risk related to employment matters, and compliance with employment law.
- Participate in Board discussions on organizational capacity, resource planning for growth and ensure HR considerations are integrated into strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Serve as a Board ambassador for internal culture and values: reinforcing organizational identity, modelling inclusive leadership and supporting staff-board alignment.
