    Two-year term. Quarterly board meetings of about 2 hours, in person or virtual, plus 2 to 4 hours a month for committee work, events, and helping open doors. We schedule meetings around members’ work schedules.

    Description

    The Legacy Table Foundation is a new 501(c)(3) in St. Petersburg, Florida, and we are filling three founding board seats right away.

    Our work is rooted in the “Big Table” philosophy my grandparents lived by: everyone gets a seat, and what you build is meant to be passed down. We bring grandparents, parents, and grandchildren together to learn entrepreneurship, business credit, land ownership, and family trust planning. We serve underserved families here in Tampa Bay and, soon, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Our 10-week intergenerational program is free for families. Each family leaves with a structured business, business credit built on its own EIN, family trust documentation, and a path to land or agricultural income.

    I started this Foundation after more than 20 years as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. In that time, I watched family after family lose their land and property to pay for care. I’m building something to change that, and I need strong, independent leaders at the table with me.
