The Research & Support Mission
The Academic Support and Service Department is looking for Interns who don't just "coordinate events"—they design experiences. This role is ideal for students interested in how people learn (UX) and how organizations can be structured to foster high performance and equity (I-O).
Your Research & Design Portfolio:
- Student Journey Mapping (UX): You will analyze the end-to-end "User Journey" for our mentorship and advising programs. You’ll identify friction points in how students access resources and redesign the "onboarding" experience for new members.
- Intervention Design (I-O): Instead of just hosting a workshop, you will design behavioral interventions. You’ll apply I-O principles to our resume and interview workshops to measure how specific "skill-building modules" correlate with student confidence and placement success.
- Webinar UX: You will lead monthly webinars, treating them as a digital product. You’ll be responsible for content architecture, ensuring information is "consumable" and accessible for a diverse global audience.
- Human-Centric Analytics: You will collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback. You won't just report "attendance"; you’ll analyze engagement metrics and behavioral outcomes to refine our 10-week summer cohort programs.
