Description
Park Ambassadors provide visibility and assistance in Three Rivers Parks and on regional trails. They are welcome to volunteer on foot, bike, cross country ski, in-line skate or horseback.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome park and trail users
- Provide accurate information about parks, trails and rules
- Document and report any maintenance needs and safety concerns
Commitment: 10 hours or 1 year volunteering. Ambassadors must complete an orientation and training.
Qualifications:
- strong communication skills
- able to volunteer independently
- able to communicate and interact with people of all ages, abilities and cultures
- ability to speak other languages a plus, but not required.
