    Volunteer Opportunity: Data Analyst – Impact, Programs & Community Engagement

    Find Community Connection Project (FCCP) is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Data Analyst to help us measure, track, and communicate our community impact. This is an in-person volunteer opportunity for individuals interested in data, reporting, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership.

    As our Data Analyst, you will play a key role in tracking volunteer engagement, program outcomes, event success, partnerships, fundraising efforts, and overall organizational impact.

    What You'll Do

    Volunteer Engagement & Retention

    • Track volunteer recruitment, attendance, participation, and retention
    • Monitor volunteer hours and engagement trends
    • Assist in developing volunteer recognition and retention reports
    • Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases

    Programs & Events

    • Track attendance and participation across FCCP programs and workshops
    • Analyze participant feedback and program outcomes
    • Measure event success and community impact
    • Create reports highlighting program achievements and opportunities for growth

    Social Media & Marketing Analytics

    • Track social media performance, engagement, and audience growth
    • Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve outreach efforts
    • Assist in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and community awareness initiatives

    Partnerships & Community Engagement

    • Maintain records of community partnerships and collaborative projects
    • Track partnership engagement and outcomes
    • Support data collection for community outreach efforts and resource distribution

    Fundraising & Grant Reporting

    • Track fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, grants, and donor engagement
    • Assist with collecting data for grant reports and impact reports
    • Help demonstrate FCCP's community impact through data and storytelling

    Reporting & Strategic Planning

    • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership meetings
    • Identify trends and opportunities for organizational growth
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve programs and services

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
    • Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively
    • Interest in nonprofit management, community development, research, or social impact

    Commitment

    • Minimum commitment of 4 months preferred to 12 months
    • 15–30 hours per week
    • Flexible weekday schedule available
