    All volunteers are asked to commit to 40 hours per tax season. Training is offered in December and January through three 8-hour sessions w/refreshments and lunch provided.

    Through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, our volunteers are able to proactively offer their time and energy to improve the prosperity of our community’s most vulnerable and economically challenged citizens by providing Free Income Tax Preparation to low-to-moderate income families.

    • Services are offered at over 20 locations in Baker, Nassau, Clay, and Duval counties
    • Helps families and individuals save hundreds off paid preparer fees
    • Every tax return is Quality Reviewed for errors before transmission to ensure accuracy and acceptance
    • Helps eligible families claim various credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
