    Description

    Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering for our Sunshine Daily Reassurance line! Our Sunshine line relies on dedicated volunteers to make the nearly 600 daily reassurance calls to seniors and homebound individuals living in Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast. We make calls Monday through Friday 7a-5p and Saturday and Sunday 7a-2:30p. This is an in-person volunteer activity. We are currently in Lantana but will soon be relocating temporarily to Delray Beach until out new building is completed, which may take a year or more.

    Requirements:

    • Must be age 18 or older.
    • Must pass a level 1 background screening.
    • Commute to our temporary location in Delray Beach
    • Ability to communicate well over the phone and able to confidently use the computer
    • Some experience working in a health care setting/non-profit agency/ social service industry, some computer experience is helpful but not required
    • Commit to at least one three-four hour shift weekly.
