    About Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow

    Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow (EOT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of Black, Brown and immigrant youth entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, and experiential learning. Through programs such as EOT Labs, we equip young leaders with the skills, confidence, and support needed to transform ideas into action.

    Role Overview

    The Youthpreneur Coach / Business Mentor (Volunteer) supports participants in EOT Labs by providing guidance, accountability, and practical business insights throughout their entrepreneurial journey. Working alongside the Program Team, coaches help participants develop business concepts, strengthen leadership skills, and prepare for key program milestones.

    This is a volunteer, learning-focused opportunity designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and community leaders who are passionate about supporting emerging young entrepreneurs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Mentor youth participants throughout the EOT Labs program.
    • Guide participants through the Plan → Build → Grow (PBG) framework.
    • Provide feedback on business ideas, customer validation, and venture development.
    • Support goal-setting, problem-solving, and accountability.
    • Assist participants in preparing for pitches, presentations, and program showcases.
    • Share relevant professional experiences and industry insights.
    • Participate in coaching sessions, workshops, and program events.
    • Collaborate with Program Managers and fellow mentors to support participant success.

    What We Are Looking For

    • Interest or experience in entrepreneurship, business, leadership, education, or mentoring.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
    • Dependable, professional, and committed to youth development.
    • Comfortable working with diverse participants and remote teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience starting, managing, or supporting a business, nonprofit, or community initiative.
    • Previous mentoring, coaching, teaching, or training experience.
    • Background in business planning, marketing, finance, operations, technology, sales, or leadership is a plus.
