    Community Lifesaver: Hands-Only CPR Presenter!

    Help save lives in your community by teaching free, 30-minute Hands-Only CPR presentations. Volunteers receive training and support from the American Red Cross and play a key role in advancing regional preparedness and injury prevention efforts.

    Hands-Only CPR Presenter

    Help save lives in your community by teaching free, 30-minute Hands-Only CPR presentations. Volunteers receive training and support from the American Red Cross and play a key role in advancing regional preparedness and injury prevention efforts. This position supports your Regional Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) department.

    Locations

    Southern Tier Chapter

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver 30-minute Hands-Only CPR presentations to communities.
    • Ensure the region has the information to report presentations in the CPEP Presentation Report.
    • Manage supplies needed for the presentations, including gathering and returning supplies.
    • Support the annual preparedness goals, Regional Disaster Officer (RDO) objectives, and regional/chapter plan for preparedness programming through participation in meetings, projects, and local preparedness activities.

    Required Training

    • Current certification in Adult CPR/AED (or higher)
    • Hands-Only CPR Presenter with Skills Verification Course (online/virtually or in-person

    Qualifications

    • Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
    • Experience or comfort public speaking
    • Ability to relate effectively with diverse groups and individuals
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and review program guidelines and tools
