    Description

    Powered By Love is seeking a Gala, Dinner & Auction Chair to lead the planning and execution of the signature celebration events of The 831 Experience. This volunteer leadership role will oversee donor dinners, gala logistics, catering coordination, auction procurement, and guest experience for events that support and celebrate our mission of serving unhoused neighbors with dignity and compassion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and coordinate the October 12 Donor & Sponsor Dinner and October 17 Celebration Gala.
    • Manage catering, décor, entertainment, seating, and event flow.
    • Secure and organize silent and live auction items.
    • Coordinate mobile bidding, guest registration, and checkout processes.
    • Work closely with sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and event leadership to deliver exceptional experiences.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in event planning, hospitality, fundraising events, donor relations, catering, auctions, or project coordination preferred.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple event components and stakeholders simultaneously.
