Art with Kids at the LA Zoo (Boo at the LA Zoo)
Details
Description
On Saturday, October 24th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we’ll be hosting the kids’ arts table during the Zoo's Halloween festival, Boo at the LA Zoo. We’re seeking volunteers to join us!
The LA Zoo is hosting a full day of incredible activities for guests, including pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating, live performances by the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, and so much more. GKA is honored to bring the art to every guest! After your volunteer session, enjoy free entrance to the zoo and explore the festivities. Costumes are encouraged!
As a volunteer, you will:
- Welcome children and families to our arts table and invite them into a free-form, no-rules creative zone.
- Guide hands-on Halloween-themed art activities.
- Encourage each child to find their spark through materials and prompts that let them lead the way.
- Help us ensure all supplies stay organized and the zone remains vibrant and welcoming for families of all ages.
Your zoo admission will be free as a volunteer and will include admission to Boo at the L.A. Zoo.
