    Description

    The Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center (AASCSC) is a non-profit organization that serves all age groups and all members of our community. We believe in an inter-generational approach to building a stronger, healthier community through direct services, advocacy, and capacity building. At the heart of these efforts is the imperative to ensure health equity within our community.

    The Youth Action League (YAL) is a leadership and service program for youth ages 12–17. We are seeking young adult volunteers who wish to mentor youth members, support youth-led initiatives, and help build an empowering environment where young people can explore leadership, civic engagement, and community contribution.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Providing guidance and support to youth participants
    • Assisting with monthly meetings and program activities
    • Helping advise youth on planning and executing service projects
    • Serving as a Team, Membership, or Leadership Advisor
    • Working alongside staff to foster a positive, youth-led environment

    Ideal for volunteers who:

    • Enjoy mentoring teens
    • Believe in youth empowerment and leadership development
    • Want experience in education, community service, or youth programming
