    Description

    Overview

Global OffSite Care (GOSC) is seeking a volunteer to support the promotion and visibility of the Global Grand Rounds (GGR) program, a virtual lecture series connecting clinicians and global health professionals working to expand telemedicine in underserved regions.

While the program already coordinates speakers and produces educational sessions, this role focuses on helping ensure each session reaches a broader audience through consistent promotion and communication.

The volunteer will collaborate with the GOSC team, webmaster, and video editor to help highlight upcoming speakers, share key insights from presentations, and expand awareness of the Global Grand Rounds program.

    Responsibilities

    • Promote upcoming Global Grand Rounds sessions on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
    • Create posts highlighting speakers, topics, and upcoming sessions
    • Share brief post-event summaries or highlights following each session
    • Coordinate with the communications director, webmaster and video editor to share clips or recordings from past presentations
    • Assist with distributing announcements to relevant professional groups, universities, and organizations
    • Suggest ideas for improving the visibility and reach of the Global Grand Rounds program

    Time Commitment

Approximately 2–4 hours per month, including participation in the monthly GOSC staff meeting (7 PM PST).

    Preferred Skills

    • Interest in global health, telemedicine, or medical education
    • Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional social media platforms
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Experience with Canva or basic design tools helpful but not required
