    Our need for onsite childcare volunteers' range in time from 1-3 hours per shift. Monday nights are a one-hour shift, Wednesday nights and Thursday nights are a one-hour shift (except for the 3rd Thursday - 2 hours), and Saturday is 3 hours.

    Be at least 14 years old or older to volunteer without a parent or guardian. Submit to a background check if you are over 18. If you have to cancel, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy.

    At Solutions for Change, we empower families to thrive and build a stable future. With over 4,800 families served and taken out of the cycle of dependency, our proven approach creates lasting change.

    Make an Impact with KidZone! KidZone is a fun, safe space where children learn and grow while parents attend workshops and meetings. Volunteers provide care, mentorship, and encouragement-helping to shape a brighter future.

    How to get started, you can sign up on our website, solutionsforchange.org, on our Take Action tab and under Volunteer. There you will receive an email with next steps, including a Volunteer Application and a background check. If you are 18 or older, a background check is required. These will be sent to you by our Volunteer Coordinator, Madison. You can also reach out to her at 760-941-6545 ext.321. You must be 14 years old or older to volunteer in our KidZone. We also have a staff member present and supporting all volunteers.
