Description
We’re looking for a strong writer and researcher to volunteer as a Grant Writer. This role will help identify grant opportunities and develop compelling proposals that support our mission and allow us to continue serving our community.
The Grant Writer will assist with:
- Researching and identifying potential grant opportunities
- Writing and preparing grant applications and proposals
- Gathering information and documentation needed for applications
- Tracking deadlines and submission requirements
- Working with the Welcome Friends team to tell our story and demonstrate our community impact
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong writing and research skills
- Is organized and comfortable managing deadlines
- Can communicate our mission in a compelling way
- Has grant writing or nonprofit fundraising experience (preferred, but not required)
