Pet Therapy for those at the End of Life- LA County

As a Providence at Home/ COMPASSUS hospice you and your certified pet will provide support to patient's at the end of life. Pets have a longstanding history of providing faithful companionship and showing unconditional love to humans in their lives. They provide care and comfort, supportive listening, and symptom management. Pet therapy has positive effects such as: reduced anxiety and stress, increased feelings of relaxation, and an overall improved outlook on life. We serve both adults and children.
