Description
Make a Meaningful Difference—One Visit, One Moment, One Life at a Time
Volunteers are the heart of our care, here at Snowline. They bring comfort, connection, and compassion to people and families navigating life’s most profound journey.
If you’ve ever felt called to listen, sit, or simply be present, there’s a place for you here.
We serve patients and families across Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado counties, and we offer many ways to get involved:
- Companionship Visits – Share stories, laughter, or a quiet moment with patients who just need someone there.
- Caregiver Respite – Give families a chance to breathe, run errands, or recharge, knowing their loved one is cared for.
- Medication Deliveries – Support patients who have no one else to help with essential medications.
- Veteran-to-Veteran Connection – Honor service through shared stories, understanding, and recognition.
- Music at the Bedside & Music for Groups – Bring comfort and joy through live or shared music experiences.
- PAWSitive Companions Pet Visits – Brighten days with the calming presence of certified therapy animals.
- Administrative & Special Projects – Help keep our programs running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Thrift Store Volunteers – Support vital bereavement and palliative care programs through our stores.
No experience is needed—only a compassionate heart. We provide in-depth training and ongoing support, so you feel confident and prepared at every step.
Whether you have a few hours a week or a few hours a month, your presence can create a lasting impact.
There’s something here for everyone.
And someone out there who will be deeply grateful you said yes.
