    Instructions:

    Join our team as a Hospice Volunteer and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families facing serious illness. Volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and practical assistance to hospice patients while helping improve their quality of life.

    Responsibilities

    • Visit hospice patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes
    • Provide companionship through conversation, reading, games, music, or other activities
    • Offer respite support to family caregivers
    • Assist with administrative and office projects as needed
    • Participate in volunteer training and ongoing education
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospice policies

    Qualifications

    • Compassionate, dependable, and respectful
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
    • Must complete hospice volunteer training
    • Background check required
    • No previous healthcare experience necessary
