Franciscan Hospice is seeking caring individuals to share their compassionate hearts with our hospice patients and their families. Not only do our volunteers offer comfort and joy to our patients, they receive comfort and joy in knowing their time is well-spent, and in being the last "new friend" in someone's life. There is little else that can leave you with this degree of fulfillment. If you are interested in a meaningful volunteer opportunity, I would love to hear from you!

The comprehensive training you receive will help you to open your heart to understanding the circumstances a hospice patient and their loved ones are facing, and give you the practical and emotional tools to feel confident about offering them the assistance you have been trained to provide.
We work together as a team of professionals and volunteers to discover and meet the unique needs of hospice patients and their families, providing them with both practical and emotional support. Whether it's a private home, skilled nursing facility, adult family home, or the Franciscan Hospice House, we meet our patients where they are to offer both comfort and companionship.
