Summer Outdoor Vacant Lot Clean-up Group Party / Company Sponsored Employee Volunteer Opportunity

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a nonprofit organization trying to bring, stabilization, revitalization, and sustainability to a 9-block area on the N.E. Side of Detroit plagued with blight. We have been working to clean-up 2 acquired dilapidated adjacent vacant lots and could utilize some willing helping hands.

We are seeking company volunteer's teams willing to come in groups to help transform the vacant lot into clean, beautiful, safe green space for purposes of hosting community events. Tasks include grass cutting and edging, debris removal, raking, cutting down overgrown vegetation and raking.

This is an opportunity for groups of individuals who enjoy the serenity of outdoor weather and willing to help a community in need. UDC is asking company volunteer teams to come out for a few hours to give back while having fun "party" while doing so. Show up with your Team and UDC will supply all tools, supplies and equipment needed.
