Description
Operations and Volunteer Coordinator
The Operations and Volunteer Coordinator supports the daily operations of Powerful Girl Broadcast, Inc. and manages the volunteer program.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and screen volunteers.
- Maintain volunteer records and service hours.
- Coordinate volunteers for youth programs, workshops, and events.
- Assist with program planning, supplies, communication, and administrative duties.
- Ensure volunteers follow confidentiality and youth-safety policies.
- Provide updates to the Founder and Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Experience in administration, nonprofits, youth programs, or volunteer coordination preferred.
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with teenagers.
- Basic knowledge of email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meetings.
- Background screening may be required.
Position Details:
- Hybrid position in the Tampa Bay area.
- Flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends required.
- Volunteer, part-time, or stipend-based depending on funding.
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week.
