    Palos Verdes Peninsula (PVP) Village – Supporting Older Adults Living in Palos Verdes

    Make a truly meaningful difference in the life of an older adult—simply by offering a ride.

    The PVP Village helps older adults stay connected and independent in their own homes. One of the biggest ways we help is by offering people round-trip rides to medical appointments, the grocery store, and other essential errands.

    Why This Is One of the Most Flexible Volunteer Roles You’ll Ever Find

    • Volunteer around your own schedule - you pick the days and times that work for you!
    • Volunteer as little or as much as you'd like - there's no minimum commitment or set schedule
    • Most rides happen Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, but you accept only the ones you want.
    • Even one ride can have a huge impact on someone who can no longer drive.

    Who We’re Looking For

    Caring, reliable people with:

    • A clean driving record
    • No criminal background
    • A minimum level of auto insurance
    • At least 4 years driving experience

    We provide training, support, and a warm, welcoming volunteer community.

    If you enjoy meeting wonderful people, want to give back locally, and want a volunteer role that fits your schedule, this is a wonderful match.
