    Description

Therapy dog teams are needed in both inpatient and outpatient settings for a variety of ages and abilities - from the little kids up to adults! We work with you and your dog to find the right client matches.

In the outpatient setting, the therapy dogs will be used as supplemental reinforcement for clients during their sessions in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

Pet Therapy teams at Buffalo Hospital bring joy to patients and staff. Pet therapy benefits patients, staff, and even the therapy animals themselves.

    Pet Therapy visits provide:

    • Comfort and companionship
    • Reduce stress and anxiety
    • Improve mental and physical health
    • Increase socialization

Flexible shifts available Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Come join the volunteer team at Buffalo Hospital.
