    Description

    Respite Care for Patient/Family Members with Azorna Hospice Care

    Azorna provides in-home & facility based medical care throughout the valley for people near end-of-life. Volunteers provide family caregivers with a break by sitting with patients for a short period. This allows family members to rest, run errands, or have a moment of respite reducing caregiver burnout. Some patients may need assistance with light housekeeping, tasks, such as tidying up their room, doing laundry, or organizing personal items. Volunteers can help maintain a comfortable environment for both the patient and their family.
