    Description

    Patient Visitor Volunteer

    Patient Visitor Volunteers:

    • Provide friendly visits to hospice patients' in their homes or long-term healthcare facilities, to provide companionship and support both the patient and their families.
    • Patient volunteers provide companionship, socialization, light house cleaning, allowing caregivers to have a break in the home (a lot of our patients’ love ones do not get a break because of being the sole caregiver), jokes, laughter, emotional support, etc.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Driver's License Needed
    • Free Background Check
    • Must be at least 18
    • Orientation or Training
    • Free Drug Screen
    • Free 2 step TB Test

    Volunteering means more than one can imagine to our patients and I will love to assist future volunteers in making a difference our patients' lives.
