    Description

    Volunteer at the Studio!

We are a small nonprofit that relies on volunteers to sort and upcycle plastic and other waste materials.

If any of these jobs sound appealing, if you are retired/ semi retired with some time to add to our cause and enjoy being in community, please consider spending a few hrs a week in our workshop helping us make useful things and help reduce waste!

    Sorting and Fuzing Plastic

We collect plastic newspaper sleeves that need to be sorted into sizes and fuzed into a 'pleather' in our heat press. This is a meditative rewarding job!

    Collecting Plastic

Could you be a collection point in your neighborhood? More info here: https://www.inventurous.org/about-8

    Sewing / Assembling

We are making handbags from fused plastic and leather from old couches. Sewing skills are handy for this, but we can show you how! We sell these as a way to fund our non profit as well as reducing community plastic and inspiring others.

    Workshop helpers

We love to open our studio to bring in our community to make things with our left over items. You could help on the day / eve.

    Outreach

We go to fairs and markets to spread the word about recycling creatively and it would be fun to have you along.

    Social Media

If you would like to regularly post about what we are doing here, let us know.

    Specialty jobs

Are your skills in building non profits, fundraising, book keeping and PR we would love your help to grow and have impact!
