    Blood Donor Ambassador: Albemarle Charlottesville

    Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:

    11am - 3pm and 3pm - 7pm

    Friday: 6:30am - 10:30am and 10:30 am - 2:30pm

    Thank you to all who donate or have donated their blood and time to support our Blood Services team. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion. In the time it took me to write this, 1800 people needed a blood transfusion in America.

    Red Cross Blood Drive Volunteers (Blood Donor Ambassadors):

    • Greet donors as they arrive, maintain the registration/sign-in sheet
    • Ease the experience of donors
    • Share about our volunteer opportunities.
    • Overall, help facilitate a well-functioning blood drive

    Serve 1 shift per month
